Lewisham Lintel House - Planning Granted!
Permissions for a brick and glazed rear extension have been granted for our ‘Lintel House’ project in Lewisham.
Client Brief
Improving the connection to the outdoors, while maintaining light to the middle room was a primary aim for our clients: we have achieved this through three large glazed sliding doors, roof lights and a new courtyard space.
The rear extension is to be constructed from a light coloured brick. The use of brick respects the character of the existing house, whilst the light tones help to provide a modern aesthetic that reflects the contemporary style of the proposed extension. The lintel and coping will be constructed from cast stone to give a monolithic appearance.
