Planning permission granted for our Tunbridge Wells Terrace Project!

Goodbye copy and paste terrace house. Hello beautifully crafted home.


Client Brief:

Our client came to us with high design aspirations, wanting to fully transform his three storey terraced house.

  • Full house renovation

  • Garage conversion to bedroom / study

  • Open plan kitchen / dining with space to entertain

  • Use of light, tactile materials

  • Minimalist interiors


Plans:

Every inch of this house works hard. Through intelligent design we were able to work within the existing footprint and turn tiny rooms into incredible spaces to live, work and entertain. 

  • At lower ground floor we’ve snuck in an extra bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, widened the hallway to provide a stress free entrance with storage and a place to sit, and added in a WC.

  • At ground floor a double height and open plan kitchen dining space opens onto the garden with huge sliding doors flooding the space with natural light. Additionally, a contemporary oriel window provides a seat with a view.

  • A bespoke open-tread staircase with skylight above acts as a lightwell and leads the eye upwards, towards the first floor.
